Preservation of art allows for both its continuance and evolution, while simultaneously making us question our beliefs and ideas about what art represents for culture, and what it says about us as a people. In order to understand the world we find ourselves in, it is therefore an imperative for us to become historians and documenters of our past.

After Event: Performance art and its mediation
